SkillMirror AI helps you practice job interviews with an AI interviewer. This policy explains how your information is handled.
To generate an interview you provide a job description (typed, pasted from a link, or read from a screenshot on your device), and your answers to the interview questions (typed or spoken). Screenshots you add are read for text on your device; the extracted text — not the image — is used for analysis.
Your job description and answers are sent securely to our backend, which forwards them to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) to generate interview questions and your skill report. This processing exists only to provide the app's core features. Voice answers are transcribed on your device; the resulting text is treated the same as typed answers.
Your interview history and reports are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts, we do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.
No advertising SDKs, no cross-app tracking, no sharing of your interviews with other users, and your content is not used to train third-party models for unrelated purposes.
Optional Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details.
You can delete individual interviews or clear all history in the app. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
SkillMirror AI is intended for users aged 12 and up.
