Effective July 5, 2026
Versed ("the app") helps you understand contracts before you sign them. This policy explains exactly what data the app handles. The short version: your documents stay on your device, and we don't want your data.
Scanning, PDF import, and text extraction all happen on your device. The original photo, PDF, or file is never uploaded anywhere. Your history of past reads is stored only on your device and is deleted when you delete the app.
When you run an analysis (or use a Premium tool such as clause rewrites, Ask-AI, missing-protections, or compare), only the extracted text of the document is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards it to an AI model provider (OpenAI) to generate the result. The text is processed in memory and never stored on our servers. We keep only anonymous usage counts (document type and character count) to operate the credit system.
The app uses a random, anonymous identifier created on your device to track your credit balance and subscription status. There are no accounts, no login, and we never collect your name, email, contacts, or location. The identifier cannot be linked to you.
Payments are processed entirely by Apple. We verify purchases with Apple's servers and record only the transaction identifier, product, and (for subscriptions) the entitlement expiry — never payment details.
The app contains no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no trackers, and it never shares data with third parties beyond the AI processing described above.
Delete the app to remove all local data. Because we don't store your documents or identity, there is nothing further for us to delete. Questions: kakh.sinauridze@gmail.com.
